Originally constructed in 1928, the LaGrange Heritage Square revitalization project was a vision created by the Longhorn Preservation committee and funded by a grant received from the Wyoming Business Council's Community Facilities Grant Program. RCI was contracted to make this vision a reality and successfully completed the project in 2010. A new addition was added to the 11,000 square foot building to give ADA compliant access to all of LaGrange's citizens for the purpose of a community cultural and business center. The new and improved facility involved demolition and removal of all existing interior structures and rehabilitation of remaining originally installed pieces such as the hardwood flooring and woodwork. The community center now includes full service fitness center with locker rooms and showers, community library with reading room, computer lab, daycare, preschool, four professional office suites, and conference center. Elevator access and a new ADA compliant exterior ramp will ensure all of LaGrange's citizens can enjoy the history of this rugged prairie town.
