Searing Industries contracted RCI to design and build a steel tube manufacturing facility consisting of 200,000 square feet of concrete tilt up walls and structural steel along with a supplementary 9,000 square feet of wood framed office space. Numerous cranes ranging from 5-ton to 30-ton full span machines are housed in almost each bay of the interior structural steel and are responsible for moving raw materials and finished products for transit. RCI was tasked with the unique challenge of providing a temperature controlled facility that met current building codes along with the desire of the owner to control initial costs and maintenance costs of the system. RCI worked closely with all members of Searing Industries to successfully complete this project. RCI assembled a design team along with engineers and material suppliers to bring this facility to fruition on time and within the desired scope.
